Family Dollar has closed its store on Penn Avenue in Lawrenceville after a going-out-of-business sale.
The Family Dollar location in Greensburg is also closing.
The location is one of 600 stores Family Dollar plans to close in the next few months because sales are down 1.2 percent nationwide.
How many stores Family Dollar will close in Southwestern Pennsylvania has yet to be determined.
While a comprehensive list of closures has not been released yet by the company, it did share in a statement to CBS News that the locations were selected after a “comprehensive review of our store portfolio to identify and address underperforming stores and invest in improved store standards and growth.”
