A Hookah lounge in the Pittsburgh area has been ordered closed by the Allegheny County Health Department after an inspection this week.

Paradise Island Hookah Lounge on Duquesne Boulevard in Duquesne was hit with 14 total violations during an inspection, one considered high-risk.

An inspection report shows the facility was operating without a valid health permit, did not submit plans before construction, has a lack of a final plumbing inspection and more.

The high-risk violation was due to a pan of raw chicken that was spoiled. It had a strong order, was slimy and discolored.

Other issues include prepared food not properly dated, some plumbing fixtures missing, lack of a thermometer and more.
