A Pittsburgh-area church community is mourning the loss of one of its lead pastors.
Allison Park Church announced that Pastor Jeff Leake died following Saturday’s service after suffering a massive heart attack.
Leake had been the lead pastor at Allison Park Church for 35 years, along with his wife Melodie.
“He has dedicated our children, baptized us in water, inspired us with vision, and fed our souls with God’s Word week after week. We’ve suffered a monumental loss,” the church wrote on Facebook.
Viewings will be held at the Allison Park Church, Hampton Campus on Friday from 12-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.
A celebration of life service will be held at Victory Family Church in Cranberry Township on Saturday at 10.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Kingdom Builders are being accepted.
Leake is survived by his wife Melodie, five children and nine grandchildren.
