Several people were injured and a man is dead after several violent incidents around the Pittsburgh area over the past 24 hours.
Downtown Pittsburgh
A fight between four girls in Market Square on Wednesday evening resulted in two stabbings.
Investigators say one of the teens cut a girl in the throat and stabbed another in the hand.
A witness said the girl with the superficial neck wound had a taser.
Officers used pepper spray to break up the fight.
Three of the girls will be cited, and the teen accused in the stabbings will be charged with attempted homicide.
Edgewood Stabbing
A suspect is in custody after a double stabbing in Edgewood left one person dead.
County police say 911 was called around 12:30 a.m. about the stabbings in the 700 block of Linden Avenue.
First responders took a man and a woman to hospitals.
The man died, the woman is in critical condition.
Clairton Shooting
Allegheny County Police detectives are investigating a shooting Thursday morning in Clairton.
A man was shot multiple times around 2 a.m. in the 600 block of 12th Street.
First responders say the victim was in stable condition when he was taken to a hospital.
Garfield Shooting
ShotSpotter alerted police to 20 rounds fired around 7:45 p.m. in Garfield.
Officers sent to the 4900 block of Kincaid Street found a man next to a vehicle who was shot in the chest, arm, and leg.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable.
