Pittsburgh Public Safety officials confirm to KDKA Radio that EMS worker Trevaughn Brown has been placed on administrative leave following a hearing on charges he allegedly ran over the foot of an Avalon police officer.
That incident happened in late September.
Brown had allegedly parked in a No Parking Zone outside Avalon Elementary School and when he was repeatedly asked to move.
Police say Brown ran over the officer's foot. Officials tell us EMS will also conduct its own internal investigation of the incident.
Brown is paid leave.
