Pittsburgh Police arrested a North Versailles man accused in two illegal trash dumping incidents.

They say the 60-year-old man is accused of unloading a truck load of trash on Renfrew Street in Larimer in July and August.
The Peduto administration has been working to crack down on littering and illegal dumping and has new high resolution cameras around no dumping sites.
"The practice of illegally discarding trash is not only an eyesore that diminishes the beauty of Pittsburgh neighborhoods, it's a crime that costs Pennsylvania taxpayers approximately $68 million dollars in mitigation each year," said Mayor William Peduto.
Public Safety says that Pittsburgh has more than 800 illegal dumping sites currently known about. Financial investments from the Clean Pittsburgh Commission and high resolution cameras placed at known dumping sites.
