Mayor O'Connor has announced he's filling three key positions.
That includes naming Acting Fire Chief Mat Davis to that position permanently.
A firefighter for 22 years, he started in Dormont, eventually became its chief and then joined the City Fire Bureau three years ago.
Davis replaces Dr. Darryl Jones who was placed on paid administrative leave in early June while an internal review took place. During the investigation, the city says that Jones was not accused of any wrongdoing and the investigation was operational.
Jones then announced in July he was retiring.
Rea Price has been named Director and Chief Financial Officer. She returned to City government in January and had been a key player at OMB after joining the office 20 years ago.
And Sylvia Harris, who has more than 30 years of IT experience, including 18 with the City, has been named Director of Innovation and Performance and Chief Information Officer.
The names were submitted to City Council Friday, where the appointments will need to be confirmed.
