A wild animal tried to outfox a family in Pittsburgh recently.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says a fox was found inside a home on Beechland Street near Homestead Wednesday afternoon.
Animal Care and Control Officers found the gray fox inside a bathtub in a bathroom and were able to safely remove it.
The homeowners believe the fox was able to get in through a cat door.
Officers says the fox is healthy and was released into the woods.
“Foxes are opportunistic scavengers, entering yards and homes, looking for easy meals,” ACCO said in a release. “To keep the critters out of your home, make sure to remove food sources and cover any hiding spots.”
