Triple A reports gas prices have gone up again in the Pittsburgh area.
Earlier in the week, the average was 4 dollars a gallon.
On Friday morning, it's $4.12 per gallon in the region.
Pennsylvania's average is $4.11 a gallon, the national average is $4.09 cents a gallon.
Several stations around Pittsburgh have prices higher at $4.19.
The primary reason for high gas prices right now is the conflict in Iran and crude oil volatility due to shipping threats in the Strait of Hormuz.
As of Friday morning, crude oil was priced at well over $100 a barrel.
