A Pittsburgh man is facing life in prison after pleading guilty in federal court, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Stephen Kaufman.
Trevon Kendrick is guilty of conspiracy to distribute and posession with intent to distribute heroin from September 2018 to October 2019.
The 29-year-old man ran an operation that moved heroin from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh.
During their investigation, law enforcement seized the drugs, guns and cash from Kendrick and members of his organization.
Sentencing is scheduled for November 1, 2021. Kendrick could get anywhere from 10 years to life in prison, be fined $10 million or both.
A number of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation including the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, Allegheny County Police, Stowe Township Police, Pittsburgh Police, Allegheny County Sheriff's Office, North Versailles Police, the Allegheny County Port Authority Police, Munhall Police, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
