PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - A new 700,000-square-foot terminal is headed to the West ramp of Pittsburgh International Airport, between Concourse C and D.
"When you pull up to the building and you walk through security, you will be walking to your gate," Christina Cassotis, CEO of the Allegheny County Airport Authority, said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show Thursday. "There will be no more train. The roadway will be reconfigured and there will be a new parking garage, as well as a new rental car center."
The new experience focuses on modernization and efficiency, and is expected to be complete by 2025.
