Fans of McDonald’s are not lovin' it after the fast food’s location at Pittsburgh International Airport permanently closed on New Year’s Eve.
The fast food giant was a staple at the Airport for years in the terminal that is currently undergoing a big renovation.
The Allegheny County Airport Authority’s Director of Public Affairs, Bob Kerlik, tells KDKA Radio that while McDonald’s may be closing 15 new concessions are coming to the new terminal.
That includes Shake Shack, Meneo’s Jimmy John’s, Café Conmigo and more.
Kerlik says announcements will be coming soon to confirm the new locations for all of the new concessions, including the former home of McDonald’s.
Chick-fil-A, across from the former McDonald’s site reopened in December after renovations.
The renovations allowed Chick-fil-A to “offer and expanded menu and more capacity.”
