A Pittsburgh man is facing up to three years in prison after pleading guilty to impersonating a Department of Labor analyst.
Federal prosecutors say 38-year-old Lazaven Mitchell visited businesses saying he needed to review their retirement plans to see if they were in compliance with federal regulations.
But Mitchell, who is in reality a financial advisor, would find a compliance issue and recommend the business terminate its current advisor and make him the administrator.
He'll be sentenced in March.
