A Pittsburgh police detective is accused of repeatedly being paid for security work he allegedly did not complete.
Investigators say 35-year-old Kalieb Hines was hired for patrol shifts at the Target in East Liberty, but surveillance and time records showed he sometimes worked only two to four hours while six hours were billed.
Police say the alleged discrepancies happened from mid-January into early February.
Hines is charged with theft by deception and is due in court for a preliminary hearing August 2nd.
