PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) — On Wednesday night, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to the 5700 block of Jackson Street in Highland Park for a shotspotting alert.
There were reports of multiple gunshots at the location on Jackson Street at around 8:10 p.m. on Nov. 4.
At the site, police found a male victim in the driver's seat of a vehicle.
The male was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other victims were found on-site, but an empty vehicle was located with gunshots.
The Violent Crime and Mobile Crime units reported to the scene to begin processing the evidence, and the investigation is ongoing.
The decedent was taken to the Medical Examiner's office.
