City residents hoping for a 2% discount on their real estate taxes will still get it, even though there have been delays in processing their payments.
On Thursday, the City of Pittsburgh said the discount will still be applied for payments post-marked February 10 or earlier, despite delays in mail delivery by the U.S. Postal Service.
In addition, the city says they've been getting a new check scanning system up and running, which has also caused some delays.
