Frozen yogurt store robbed in North Oakland

Police are investigating after robbery in North Oakland Thursday afternoon.

Pittsburgh Public Safety says officers were called to the 300 block of South Craig Street for reports of a robbery around 2:40 p.m.

Police say a female suspect entered the Berry Fresh II frozen yogurt store and opened the cash register. She then reportedly hit the cashier in the face, took money from the register and fled the scene.

The cashier was no injured and police continue to investigate.

Pitt Police say the suspect is identified as a Black female, about 5-feet-4-inches tall, weighing 120 pounds.

She was wearing a black hat, black pants, black sweatshirt and had long black hair with red highlights.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Pitt or Pittsburgh Police.
