Police are investigating after an early-morning shooting in Penn Hills, part of a violent stretch across the Pittsburgh area this weekend.
Allegheny County dispatchers confirmed to KDKA Radio at least two people were injured in a shooting along Jefferson Road around 2:40 Monday morning.
Their conditions are unknown, and police have not said what may have sparked the shooting.
The incident is the latest in a violent 72-hour stretch across the Pittsburgh area.
A 26-year-old woman, identified as Quinn Venay, was killed and two others wounded in Braddock early Saturday.
In the Hill District, one man was killed and another shot in the leg, and in Homewood, two men were shot along North Dallas Avenue.
So far, investigators have not said whether any of the cases are connected.
