Pittsburgh SWAT team was on the scene for several hours overnight in Oakland, closing a section of Bates Street looking for a man who was believed to be barricaded inside a home.
Police now say the man they were looking for wasn't there.
Bates was closed off between Second Avenue and the Boulevard of the Allies.
Police say Shawn Brown was accused of firing shots at the home of his ex-girlfriend following an argument.
