A nor'easter is developing in the Southeast this weekend. AccuWeather meteorologist Joe Lundberg says the storm won’t affect the Pittsburgh region.
“No, not at all, if fact I think, at best, we may see some snow showers for a time Saturday, Saturday night into early Sunday but I don’t think it’s going to be much,” said Lundberg.
Most of the snow showers will be south and east of Pittsburgh.
The extreme cold, however, isn't going anywhere.
He says we're not expected to see freezing again until at least next Thursday, maybe, followed by more cold temperatures behind that.
As for February, Lundberg says average temperatures will probably be two to four degrees below normal throughout the month.
