The National Weather Service has officially confirmed four tornadoes touched down in Western Pennsylvania, in three separate counties during severe storms on Saturday.
Damage survey teams deployed across the region confirmed one tornado touchdown Washington County.
They say an EF-0 tornado touched down just southeast of the town of Ellsworth.
A touchdown was also confirmed in South Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, near Boy Scout Camp Road.
And it was at least an EF-1 tornado that struck Saltlick Township in Fayette County.
An EF-1 also touched down in Brownsville, PA.
The storms also knocked out power for tens of thousands of residents and caused significant tree and property damage throughout the impacted counties.
