An Oakland woman turns 109-years-old Wednesday!
Gert Williamson was born in 1916 and has lived in Pittsburgh her entire life.
She is a great-great-grandmother and lives with her over 90-year-old daughter.
Williamson will spend her special day at home, but will communicate with family members throughout the day.
“Grandma Gert” has said in the past that she attributes her longevity to her faith in God and more.
As of the beginning of April, the oldest living person in the world is a nearly 117-year-old nun in Brazil.
