Get ready for the warmer weather with Pittsburgh Brewing Company’s newest beer flavor.
PBC’s Blockhouse Brewing has unveiled “Poolside”.
It’s a “Pineapple Lemon Shandy” at 4.2 percent ABV “featuring a vibrant pineapple flavor complemented by a refreshing tart lemon kiss,
making it the drink of the summer,” Pittsburgh Brewing said in a release.
“Poolside” is available 12 oz can, 15-packs. It’s currently available at the Brewery Store in Creighton but will be available at distributors in the Pittsburgh area in mid-April.
24 oz cans will be available this summer at concert venues, stadiums and convenient stores that sell beer, beginning in May.
“Poolside” joins other seasonal beers like Pumpkin Ale and Double Chocolate Bock.
The new flavor will be replacing the old summer seasonal beer “Summer Break.”
