The nearly ten million dollars state grant will help speed up site preparation at the planned roughly 600 acre Pittsburgh Innovation Park.
State Representative Valerie Gaydos says the goal is to make that site and this region a destination for business growth and technology.
"Because it's right near the airport and that makes it easier for businesses to come in and provide this space" she said.
She added that the location will be good for workers.
"It would enable people who are looking for jobs coming from North, South, East, and West," she said.
It's expected to include 13 buildings and more than three and a half million square feet of space.
