The days of work from home are about to end for a major local employer.
PNC employees have been told they're returning to the office five days a week beginning on May 4.
“It's not just how we operate, it's part of our culture,” an internal memo sent by PNC Chairman and CEO Bill Demchak stated.
In it, he says PNC is based on relationships and the connections it builds internally and with clients and the community.
Demchak says they're giving employees plenty of notice to make the needed adjustments for their lifestyles.
The policy sparking plenty of feedback on social media with some employees saying if they get the work done, what difference does it make where they're doing it, while others feel it's within the company's rights.
