UPDATE: Eric Picart has been safely located.
Pittsburgh Police Special Victims Unit is asking for help locating a missing at-risk male.
Police say 53-year-old Eric Picart has autism and is non-verbal.
He left his home in Shadyside, on Shady Avenue Tuesday morning and did not return.
He is known to walk around Shadyside, specifically near Shady Avenue and How Street.
Picart is 5-foot-9, 172 pounds. He’s bald with brown eyes.
He is “most likely” wearing a t-shirt, sweatpants and slippers. Detectives say he answers to his name or to “Dude.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call 911.
