A $5,000 reward is being offered by Pennsylvania State Police if you can help them solve a local murder that goes all the way back to 1988.

Mary Jean Stevenson had finished her shift cleaning USX Tower on May 5 of that year.

She was last seen alive in a fight with someone on the Ninth Street Bridge.

Her decaying body was eventually found a month later in an abandoned strip mine in Butler County.

State police have more information available here.
