The Pittsburgh Marathon, graduations and Pirates games are expected to bring people down to the city by the thousands over the weekend. It will be one of the busier weekends since the start of the pandemic.

Commander Cristyn Zett is warning people to be aware, including where you leave your car.

“It’s going to be a very busy day in the city, so we want all of our residents to be aware of visitors to the city. We need to make sure that the marathon route is cleared. Everything still parked on there after 11 p.m. on Saturday night will be towed.”

Road closures begin as early as Friday afternoon with Sunday seeing the heaviest through as late as 5:30 p.m.
