Penn Hills School District says an incident took place at the high school Friday afternoon, involving a knife.
Police onsite were notified of a fight and responded, containing the situation.
A knife was found during an investigation, but no injuries were sustained because of the weapon.
In a statement on its website, Penn Hills says that all students and staff “are safe and accounted for.”
“The Penn Hills School District is following all applicable policies and procedures regarding this matter,” officials said.
