Police in Washington County are investigating three separate incidents over the weekend.
In the first incident, reports of shots fired were reported just before 6:15 a.m. Saturday on the 600 block of Allison Avenue.
No one was hurt but a vehicle was damaged by gunfire and shell casings were found in the area.
That investigation remains active.
Just before 7 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the 100 block of Hayes Avenue or reports of an armed robbery.
Preliminary information reveals the victim was approached by “several younger African American males wearing masks, with firearms present.”
The suspects forced the victim into their vehicle and directed them to go to two separate games to take out money from an ATM.
Then, around 9:10 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 700 block of North Franklin Street for reports of a suspicious vehicle parked in a resident’s driveway. He told police he saw two juveniles in the area with two in a separate car and one on foot.
The juvenile on foot apologized for the car behind parked in the driveway and took off in the vehicle. That vehicle was confirmed to be stolen out of Canonsburg, a white Kia Sportage with the license plate number JXR-1000.
Police believe the robbery and stolen vehicle are connected, though not confirmed.
Police also don’t believe the shots fired incident is connected with the robbery/stolen vehicle.
City of Washington Police are asking anyone with any information/video footage to call 724-223-4108.
