Allegheny County Police are investigating after an infant’s death in Springdale.
Officials say they were notified just after 2 p.m. on the 1000 block of Pittsburgh Street.
First Responders found the infant not breathing and trying life saving measures. The baby was taken to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced dead.
An initial investigation “found no obvious signs of foul play and the death appears medical in nature.”
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
