Pittsburgh Police Zone 5 officers responded to the 600 block of South Millvale Avenue in Bloomfield for a reported armed robbery around 10 o'clock Thursday morning.
Police belief two armed adult men forced entry into Sonny's Tavern and demanded money from employees.
One victim was assaulted and suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
The men reportedly fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Officers are reviewing video surveillance footage from the area.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are leading an active and ongoing investigation.
