A robbery and attempted robbery were reported late last night and early this morning in Oakland.
The robbery happened at the intersection of North Dithridge Street and Centre Avenue.
Pitt Police say the suspect pushed and threatened a man before the victim handed over his wallet.
After the suspect found there was no money inside, the wallet was thrown down and the suspect fled.
The second incident happened in the 100 block of Robinson Street.
The suspect tried to take a man’s backpack, punching him in the head and face before running away.
Pittsburgh Police say “there is no indication these incidents are connected.”
