Police looking for Israeli flag vandal on North Side

Pittsburgh Police are investigating an act of vandalism that's happened repeatedly in the Mexican War Streets on the North Side.

Police have posted photos on social media of a man they believe is responsible for destroying an Israeli flag outside a home on in the 1500 block of Buena Vista Street.

Investigators say the flag has been damaged three times in the past two years.

The latest incident happened January 17 around 7 p.m., when a man with long hair drove a white pickup truck with a covered bed, got out with a knife, and slashed the flag before leaving the area.
