Officials in Allegheny County are looking to identify a man they believe could help in the ongoing investigation into the Rustic Ridge house explosion in Plum last year.
Police say the man in the photo is “not suspected of any wrongdoing.”
They do believe the unidentified man may have information that could help investigators.
Six people were killed last August 12 after a house explosion destroyed three homes in Plum.
State officials had previously ruled out natural gas from an abandoned underground mine as a cause. Authorities have also said the home’s owners had been having problems with their hot water tank.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s office at 412-473-2631 or Allegheny County Police at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
