Pittsburgh Police make arrests in connection with two separate crimes

Pittsburgh police have made arrests in connection with two recent crimes in the City.

38-year-old Donnie Greene was arrested Thursday, on the 4900 block of Steubenville Pike in Kennedy/Robinson Township, on a host of charges including attempted homicide.

He is accused of shooting a woman three times on the 6200 block of Broad Street in East Liberty on July 8.

The woman suffered the wounds to her leg and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

Green was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

Police also arrested a man in connection with this week's shooting of a man in the city's East Allegheny neighborhood.

54-year-old Raymont Wright is charged in the shooting that happened Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Nash Street and Virgin Way.

Wright was arrested around 4:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Smokey Wood Drive.

He is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and other charges.
