Pittsburgh Police are negotiations with a person they say has a weapon and is making threats toward people inside an apartment on the North Side.
The incident was reported around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and is taking place at an apartment on East Ohio Street.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says "Tactical negotiators are on scene and in contact with the actor."
Cedar Avenue and East Commons is currently closed to all traffic.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area.
