PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Pittsburgh Police has opened an investigation following a shooting in Homewood South on Wednesday evening.
Zone 5 police responded to a shotspotter alert and a 911 call that led them to the 7300 block of Idlewild Street.
When officers arrived to the scene they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound inside a residence.
The victim was shot in the stomach and leg and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Police state that a vehicle with two possible suspects fled the scene.
No arrests have been made.
