The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office is involved in an “active situation” in South Fayette Monday afternoon.

Sheriff’s deputies were “attempting to serve an eviction notice” in South Fayette on Oakridge Road when “the situation quickly deteriorated” with shots reportedly being fired at officers.

Deputies took cover and South Fayette Police were called to help assist and Allegheny County Police SWAT has also been called to the scene.
