Several survivors, witnesses, and police officers testified this week in the federal trial of alleged Tree of Life synagogue shooter, Robert Bowers.
Friday, police officers told jurors about coming face-to-face with Bowers as they tried to stop him.
One of the first officers on the scene, Daniel Mead, was shot in the wrist and hand.
His partner was under fire as well and testified that a bullet just missed his head, leaving shrapnel in his face. They exchanged several rounds of gunfire.
SWAT officers also testified about Bowers' capture.
11 Jewish worshippers were killed in the massacre back in October of 2018. It was the deadliest antisemitic attack in U.S. history.
Bowers could get the death penalty.
