A food truck entering service in Beaver County this spring is offering something different: baked goods.
Kretchmar's Bakery in Beaver is rolling out due to popular demand. Lincoln Kretchmar says the food truck is a unique second location.
“I’ve gotten numerous requests about people wanting me to open a second location in their town here in Beaver County, so hopefully this food truck will sort of be able to serve as that cold spot for us,” said Kretchmar.
He says the truck, called Goodies 2 Go, will visit Beaver Falls, Midland, Center Township and Chippewa.
He’s also thinking about moving into Butler County and Cranberry Township.
A second test run is being planned for next week, with regular service starting in April.
Goodies 2 Go offers biscotti, cookies, muffins, croissants, Danish, scones, sweet rolls, torts and more.
