A popular Mexican restaurant in Franklin Park, damaged by fire Wednesday night, is temporarily closed for repairs, but plans to reopen.
The Franklin Inn will be out of operation for at least a couple of months.
In a social media post, Franklin Inn's owners thanked customers for their support and said the restaurant will reopen in 2026.
For those asking how to help, the Franklin Inn says they are “still in the assessing phase” and that the people reaching out and offering kindness “has been the best.”
“We will miss celebrating the holidays together with you. Thank you for the well wishes, prayers, and kind comments,” the Facebook post reads.
