Necromancer Brewing Company is closing its Ross Township brewery after three years in business.
The announcement came a week after the brewery closed for a week while trying to rectify an issue with its liquor license.
In a post on Instagram, Necromancer calls the decision to close a financial one.
“Between operating costs that continue to rise, and the overall state of the industry - there isn’t much room for error,” the post said.
The brewery will be open Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
All beer will be free to drink or take home, with a limit of one case per person.
There will be a virtual tip jar with all proceeds going to staff.
Merchandise and glassware will be available for sale.
The decision also means a planned pub in Greenfield have been scrapped.
