One of Pittsburgh’s most popular donuts has found a new home on Greentree Road.
Better-Maid Donut Company announced earlier this year that it planned to relocate following a property dispute with the landlord at its longtime location on Steuben Street in Crafton Heights.
Now, Better-Maid says it has just signed a lease to reopen at 2101 Greentree Road in Scott Township, the former home of restaurant Albero Verde.
“It will take us some time to get up and running, but we hope to see you all very soon,” the owners said in a social media post.
For anyone afraid the donuts won’t taste the same, Better-Maid says they are bringing all of their equipment from the Steuben Street location and their donut guy “Ken” is also making the move!
No word on when the new location will open, but we’ll keep you updated.
