
The highly-anticipated arrival of a popular Pittsburgh pizzeria in Regent Square is being delayed because of the strong storms that came through the area on Tuesday.
Rockaway Pizzeria on Lincoln Way in White Oak was planning on completing its relocation to Regent Square on Friday, May 2, but because of extensive damage to the area, we’ll have to wait.
“We lost all of our food and dough for opening day,” Rockaway said in a Facebook post. “Saturday is all but impossible as well. Stay tuned.”
Rockaway came in third in the 2024 100.7 Star’s Best Pizza in Pittsburgh contest.
Rockaway offers appetizers, round and Sicilian style pizzas, salads, calzones, hoagies and more.
