If you take public transportation, Port Authority will be fare free for a little while longer.

Due to service disruptions caused by a number of bus drivers still ineligible to return to work, the Port Authority is extending its free fares on its entire fleet until next Sunday, March 27th.
Port Authority CEO Katherine Kelleman instituted a vaccine mandate for all employees, and as of last week, it had sidelined almost 500 unvaccinated workers.

Employees who refuse to get vaccinated could ultimately be terminated.
