As commuters continue to trudge through the elements Monday morning, the Port Authority spoke with KDKA Radio's Shelby Cassesse on the current conditions the buses are working with.
Port Authority spokesperson Adam Brandolph said buses are 30-to-40 minutes behind schedule due to the current conditions. They are having more trouble in higher-elevated areas like Polish Hill and Braddock Hills.
Officials are expecting overall traffic to be lighter than usual, due to it being Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Port Authority is urging people to stay off the roads until conditions improve.
