Sunday's severe weather may have produced some tornados and survey crews from the National Weather Service will be looking for signs of them Monday.

The NWS says they’ll be surveying areas in Indiana and Westmoreland County for evidence of tornados.

Some buildings were damaged or destroyed in Connellsville, New Kensington, Fairchance, Washington and other areas.

Strong winds knocked out power for thousands and some spotted golf ball-sized hail during the strong storms.

The outages have forced several schools in Allegheny, Washington and Fayette Counties to cancel or adjust classes on Monday.
