Powerball prize worth $200k hits in Southwestern PA as jackpot climbs to $1.5 billion

The current Powerball jackpot will be worth $1.5 billion or $686.5 million cash for the next Jackpot on Saturday after no winner following Wednesday’s drawing.

But, someone in Southwestern PA is holding a ticket worth $200,000 after the drawing.

The ticket sold at the Walmart in Chippewa Town Center, Beaver County matched four of the five white balls drawn, 25, 33, 53, 62, 66, and the red Powerball 17 to win the prize.

Winners should sign the back of their ticket immediately and contact the Lottery to begin the claiming process.

Another ticket sold in Luzerne County hit for $1 million and over 182,200 other tickets across Pennsylvania have a prize on them.

Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.

The next Powerball drawing is set for Saturday evening.
