PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) President Joe Biden was in Hazelwood Friday to speak about investment in infrastructure.
His visit was scheduled prior to the Fern Hallow Bridge collapse, but turned out to be especially timely.
Biden marveled at the fact that no one was killed while noting that Pittsburgh has more bridges than any other city in the world.
He also vowed federal support is on the way as part of the recently passed bi-partisan infrastructure plan.
The Fern Hollow Bridge rated "poor" in its most recent inspections.
